Course Closed Monday 8 July 2024

We regret to inform you that the course will be closed until further notice to assess and address the impact of pull carts, foot traffic, and play on the course conditions and playing surfaces. This decision comes after careful consideration and monitoring of the course, particularly given the rainfall we have experienced.
As of Saturday, 6 July 2024, we have recorded 938mm of rainfall this year. The excessive wet conditions have contributed to wear and tear on the course, necessitating a period of closure for essential maintenance and evaluation.
Additionally, we kindly ask that all members refrain from chipping around the Putting Green until further notice. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated during this time.
Scheduled Maintenance:
- Date: Monday, 8 July
- Tasks:
- Repair a broken drain running parallel between the fairways on holes 4 and 5.
- Install a new drain across the 5th fairway, just short of the cross bunker.
- Conduct work on the left-hand side of the 4th fairway to prevent water from flowing across the fairway.
