Irrigation & Drainage Projects
Irrigation (Approximately 9 weeks)
All mainlines completed on 12,15,16,17
Installing valves now and pulling through cable
Installing satellites
Installing lateral lines
Installing sprinklers
Drainage
No drainage work was started due to the wet soil conditions ultimately leading to the contractors leaving and commencing work on another site. As soon as the fairway condition allows for successful drainage work to start and be completed the contractors will return and complete the agreed scope of work.
Course Care
Members
It would be greatly appreciated if members and their guests could keep buggies on paths and not track them across Teeing Grounds or park them on the Tee Box.
Particularly through the cooler months this will reduce wear and tear and enable the Superintendent to present improved playing surfaces and aesthetics.
Please make your playing partners aware that our preference is for all golfers to keep their buggies on the path provided and not track them across the Teeing Ground or park them on the Tee Box that ultimately leads to unnecessary compaction and poor turf health. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Course Staff Safety
The Golf course staff are Industry Professionals with qualifications and kills ranging from:
- Agronomy
- Chemical application
- Operating & maintaining specialist machinery
- Drainage and irrigation
- Industry leading WHS policies & procedures
- Management of soil and turf related diseases
It is both EXPECTED AND MANDATORY that ALL golfers treat ALL Course Maintenance Staff with the respect they deserve.
Golfers that are proven to be disrespectful of the Course Maintenance Staff via verbal communication, body language, or unsafe impatient play will be requested to explain their actions to the Disciplinary Committee.
This may lead to suspension of playing rights or expulsion from The Club. This type of behaviour will NOT be tolerated.
