Important Changes to Use of Members Bar Levy
I’m writing to let you know about some changes to the use of your members bar levy.
The general commercial agreement negotiated with our caterer, The Fresh Collective, is competitive within the industry and is designed to deliver mutually beneficial outcomes for both parties. To allow members to continue to use their bar levy across all food and beverage outlets while retaining much needed income for the Club, a higher commission rate was negotiated for bar levy sales at the Fresh Collective outlets relative to regular sales. Unfortunately, with the benefit of six months of experience, it has become apparent that this arrangement is commercially unsustainable for The Fresh Collective.
As a result, from 1 February 2025, members bar levy purchases will only be accepted at the upstairs Clubhouse Bar. Member’s e-wallet and prize account will still continue to be accepted at all locations including the Bistro and Kiosk, and member discounts will remain applicable. Members may add credit to their e-wallet account at the upstairs bar.
These changes will enable the Fresh Collective to invest into member activations and promotions, ensuring that the Club’s food outlets remain vibrant and thriving, attracting new guests to the Club and keeping all members engaged and satisfied.
