You will have notice trades working in and around the clubhouse over the past few weeks and months. 

Most if not all of the work is to ensure we are compliant with the regulatory bodies and certifiers. 

The scope of work includes:

• Repair to the footpath at the front of the clubhouse
• Repair to the alfresco area
• Repair to the Fire Safety infrastructure 
• Repair to clubhouse leaks 
• Upgrade to the Maintenance Facility wash down bay 
• Irrigation and drainage work

While I appreciate this work is extremely expensive, unfortunately under WHS regulations it must be done. 

Meat processing company, Primo Foods, will pay $150,000 towards Cooks River Alliance projects in a legally binding ‘Enforceable Undertaking’ with the EPA, after 1,000L to 5,000L of contaminated wastewater entered the Cooks River on 8 November 2022.Primo will contribute $150,000 to Cooks River Alliance projects designed to improve the health and water quality of the Cooks River and the Cooks River Foreshore. Anyone can report contamination like this to the EPA.
